Vintage auto intake manifold and carb
Someone, somewhere knows what this intake is from. Without mounting holes, it looks as though it would clamp to the side of the engine. My guess is 1920s automotive or maybe marine engine of the same era. Seen in a junk store in coastal Maine, a nice piece of cast iron sculpture for the garage wall, just pricy enough that I didn`t buy it...

We used to build things in this country! Would that car have been built on Dupont St in Toronto?
Probably not. The serial no plate says 'The Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd, Walkerville, Ontario'. It's car no 91885, engine block casting date is Nov. '11 and the car was assembled on or about 21 January '12 before being crated and shipped to New Zealand. We had localised assembly in NZ before it was centralised in Wellington, maybe you had the same in Canada?
