Model railroad graffiti

Ron Zeil and George Foster, steel rails to the sunrise, Hawthorn Books, 1965

Some clever model railroad-savvy graffiti artist christened this bridge as a toy on the Long Island Railroad. I was looking to date the photo, it appears it might have been during the 1964 Goldwater presidential campaign. I wonder if it was the same clever character that did both...

Credited to Ron Ziel and taken on September 29, 1964 says the Queens Public Library. But it's possible that Ron obtained it for his book?
