with apologies to Ogden Nash...
I can't find much information of the this brand, but I get the idea it's neither?
I worked in a commercial print shop for 40 years and we had one of that brand to check paper thickness with. It was accurate enough for that.
It's cool because the body is chrome plated vs the typical satin finish. There are a couple of them on eBay with pics of the box and instruction sheet but neither give any indication of who made them. There's also no mention of a friction thimble in the instructions, so it may be fake. I have a couple of off-brand mics with fake friction thimbles.
The chrome finish is exactly why I question the quality. I've not seen that name before, nothing on the back either. I'm surprised it's been around for 40 plus years, I was thinking Asian manufacture... of course 40 years is only 1982, sigh....
Somebody wrote "Jan 5 1949" on the box of one on eBay and I bet it could be that vintage:https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/RIwAAOSwkmhjoLyx/s-l1600.jpg
