Ariel Leaders

A minor celebration for the 25,000th Ariel Leader off the assembly line in June 1961. There were 30,000 of the two stroke twins made  before the Ariel factory closed in 1965. Below, some of those engines being assembled.

Amazing machines, they beat Luigi Taveri's MV in 1960 Junior TT, and are still
kicking ass in classic racing today.

An Arrow would be a good addition to any collection. When I win the lottery. I'd park it between the Scott and the H2 Kawa triple.
