This was described as a vintage spark plug wrench, except for the lettering/numbers or whatever those incomprehensible markings are in the picture below, it really looks like it could have been made in a blacksmith's shop...

I was thinking it might be a cylinder head bolt wrench but stumbled on "radial engine spark plug wrench." Google-image that and you'll see some wrenches that look a lot like the one here.
That must be it, thanks! None exactly like it but several very similar. I figured it couldn't be too heavy duty with only that sliding handle for leverage.
