I feel like you. I had a 73 R75/5 long wheel base with the big tank, Avon fairing with lowers & crash bars. Loved the R95. Mine met its demise when a car made a left turn in front of me and I t-boned it😫. I was lucky, the bike, not so much…last time I rode a bike. I still lust after a classic Beemer tho.

I had a 1970 R75/5 (short wheelbase) but it was the R90/S that I lusted over.

I had a '74 R90S. In 1976 I traded it in for a brand new Gold Wing. Nothing against the GW, but I've regretted that decision to this very day.
