One of my vices is vises, unknown offset vice

 

Found on Craiglist a while back, the ad referred to the make as Ganz Stahl, which translated is "All Steel" so probably not the manufacturer.  The label on the sliding jaw is deteriorated beyond readability. Anyways, an interesting and uncommon configuration and does it come in both left and right hand versions?
