Demonstrating how motorcycle-shop parts-counter ashtrays were made in pioneer times, when every man carried a cordless 1.75HP drill and everybody smoked.
I still have a couple of those ashtrays and I never smoked:-) Made from big diesel pistons.
Looks like adding or enlarging oil holes for piston skirt lubrication.
Git er done! He probably said “here, hold my beer, I’ll show you how we did it back home...”
