I wonder if the side covers are pressed steel. I'm glad it has those grips, that's what I would install if'n it were mine. I imagine it painted black and gold. gold where the white is. that bike has to be worth a fortune.
Chrome plated plastic as I recall. This thing would have been sharing floor space with the first year triples. The poor old T500 needed some extra bling. I do like the red and white paint...
