Logging in Washington State, 1916

A Hamilton Logging Company train on the new trestle over Red Cabin Creek. This photo is from the Darius Kinsey Locomotive Portraits Volume 3.
The husband and wife team of Darius and Tabitha Kinsey made portraits of logging locomotives in the American northwest from 1890 to 1940. They created a stunning collection of work. Today the Kinsey Collection is housed in the Whatcom Museum of History and Art in Bellingham Washington.
