Turbo prop testing, Wellington and Lancaster

Mk X Wellington modified for testing Roll Royce Dart turbo-props later used in the Vickers Viscount. This engine first flew mounted mounted in the nose of a Lancaster bomber in 1946, shown below.

Yes apologies. Badly titled. sloppily done post:-) Wellington with turbo prop in top pic and creative engine mounting in the Lancaster image. Those were exciting times for aviation.
