Whaleback Atikoken driven up on land at Marine City, Michigan in the St. Clair River during a storm in 1913. Strangely the history here mentions a beaching and salvage at Isle Royale in Lake Superior and nothing of this dramatic event. Below the damage to the town buildings left by the wreck.
