Bodmann adjustable wrench

Another antique market find... I don't find this style of wrench very useful but I picked it up because I liked the finish, (not that I'm shallow). I've never seen anything like it before.

All I can find online about the company is a note on Garagejournal, that Otto Bodmann started Bodmann & Co. in 1923. They were  located in Reinscheid Germany and were manufacturers of guaranteed tools and hardware.

Those were typically called "auto" or "bicycle" wrenches as they're intended for use on hex nuts and bolts. Note that the handle is intended to serve as a tyre iron.

Those were the days.
