1905, Henry Ford at 40 years of age, with his 10 year old son Edsel going for a ride in one of 800 Ford Model Cs built in 1904-05. This car was the upgraded Model A (the first Model A). Despite the new front hood, the two cylinder engine was still mounted under the seat.
