The Yakovlev Yak-15 was a first generation Russian jet fighter, powered by a reverse-engineered version of the the German Jumos 004 engine used on the Me-262. The plane was a re-engineered version of the Yak-3 piston-powered fighter of WW2. Two hundred and eighty were built in 1946-47.
