Max Burns knew whereof he spoke. As a regular contributor to Cycle Canada, he knew motorcyclese. In some correspondence I had with him back in 1986, he added, "It is interesting that, while we both seem to share a passion for old machinery, we both use computers to type out letters ... Sounds like the subject for another column."
