1928 Guzzi rear suspension

Quite the innovative arrangement for an under-engine rear suspension. Especially for 1928 when most bikes had none at all!

Haven't I seen that configuration pretty recently (well: early 1980s) on bikes bearing the regalia of H_______-D________ and, maybe, Buell as well? I don't *think* I'm making this up.

The Buell is actually pretty similar, though the shock is not as far forward. I've never looked at an HD:-)
