The early Datsun 260-280s were a nicely designed little sports car, by the early eighties I feel they had lost some of the charm with the heavier-looking body-colour bumpers and changed roof line.. This one recently appeared in the neighbourhood, looking a little shabby, when parked on a slanted driveway the owner chocks the wheels. Maybe not enough compression to hold it anymore, but I see they still command a reasonable price online...

I think this is a 280ZX which usually had the black waist strip continue on the bumpers which took away some of the fatness. Looks like these might have been resprayed. Still they lost the lean look of the Z.
Now you got me thinking about collecting the whole set, 240Z, first RX7, first MR2, Honda S800, Toyota 2000 (yeah right) :-)
