Well leave it to the Germans to make a left hand tape measure! I could never figure out why American tape measures had their numbers printed so you had to pull with your right hand and mark with your left. Stanley made a 16 footer years ago that pulled with your left and you marked with your right, I bought every one I could find!

German made tape measure in inches - must have been an export model I recall my Dad had one just like this with the red center in the early 60’s
It was found in Ontario, Canada so they must have have shipped some over here. Never seen one before.
