de Havilland Albatross


Hmm I see a certain similarity to the later Lockheed Constellation. The wood-construction de Havilland Albatross of 1938 carried 21 passengers at up to 230 mph, powered by four 500 hp engines. Seven were built, all were retired by 1943.
