King Midget 1950

Midget Motors Mfg Co., Athens Ohio
This kit car was produced between 1946 and 1970.  Designed by Claud Dry and Dale Orcutt during WWII, who used their knowledge of aircraft construction to keep the car light.  It had only one driven rear wheel, eliminating the need for a differential.  The company eventually went bankrupt.  Not surprisingly, there's an enthusiasts' site:  The International King Midget Car Club.
