Bu 1937 Sunbeam had been taken over by Associated Motorcycles (AMC), the manufacturers of AJS and Matchless. Production was moved from Wolverhampton to London, as seen with the address on the advertisement. The name was sold to BSA during WW2, with Sunbeam production continuing until 1957.
