Graham Blue Streak Coupe 1932

From the 1932 Graham Catalog.
The 1932 Graham Blue Streak was styled by Amos Northup, Design Director of the Murray Body Corporation, supplier of car bodies to various car manufacturers. The front end styling was all new, with the hood extending right up to the raked back grill- thereby moving the radiator and cap inside and out of sight.  The fenders were deeply valanced and full skirted, hiding dirt and mud splatters from view. These features were widely copied, defining car styling for the next few years.

The designer’s name is Northup, without the ‘r.’
